The decision to cancel the CDG 2010 meeting, as a result of the volcanic activity in Iceland, was difficult, but in retrospect probably the best. There is nothing we can do against Mother Nature. However, it became another challenge to try and fix a new date. Impossible to pick a date in 2010, so we move to 2011.
The 4th International Meeting on the “Congenital disorders of glycosylation and related disorders” will now take place in Leuven on 13-14 January 2011.
The meeting will cover all aspects of these disorders, including the discovery of novel types, the study of fundamental aspects of glycosylation, analytical procedures and diagnostic methods and the analysis of models for the disease. The meeting is organized by EUROGLYCANET, a European network for the advancement of research, diagnosis and treatment of a growing group of rare disorders.
This 4th International Meeting on CDG is an open meeting, with invited speakers and presenters selected from submitted abstracts.
